Afterward, Keller was in the weight room when Koetter called him into his office. Sorry, Sam, he said. He had made a mistake. He had changed his mind, and Carpenter would be the starter. Keller was too stunned to ask many questions.

He simply cried.
"I was just completely shocked," he said. "I was floored. It was just unbelievable. My dad was driving out to Vegas. My mom was on the way to the airport. So I called him as quick as I could and said, 'Please come back.' That was as low as I've ever felt."

Keller= :crybaby:

You missed the best quote!

"I kind of wondered," he said, "how I could go from being so good to being in Nebraska."

Fargin hilarious!
"Bob and myself had a nice chuckle over that one. Bob told me, ‘How could I say the things I’ve been saying about Kansas State to the kids and go someplace else?’ ”
Weiser, on rumors that Huggins might go to West Virginia, 4/26/2006

For the emoticon, how about a future 1st round NFL selection pounding you into oblivion and chasing your asses onto buses for a long cold trip back to the trailer park you call Manhattan.

Where do NU fans get the stuff about thier players all being first round draft picks?  Keller is a pro prospect and on people's list but I have not seen anything that has him first round or even that close to it.  The other day some NU fan posted Bowman was the top rated corner in the country.  Where do you guys get this crap from?  I know it's not from any credible draft sources.

Actually The Sporting News ranks these Huskers for the 2008 NFL Draft:

Sam Keller as the #4 quarterback prospect
Maurice Purify as the #11 wide receiver
Terrence Nunn as the #21 wide receiver

Zackary Bowman as the #1 ranked cornerback prospect
Corey McKeon as the #3 ranked inside linebacker

They don't rank Suh, Octavien, Ruud, Brandenburgh, Lucky, or Andre Jones, all of whom are also likely to be drafted.

Yet nowhere on the list is Mildcat State listed.... :D

Who did those sporting new rankings Tom Lemming?  That is way higher then any of those guys are rated on other draft listings I've seen.  Some of those guys are not even on most people's boards.  I don't think NU will have a first round draft pick this year and may not have a first day pick.  Bowman has a chance but he has to stay healthy and have a big year but other then him I don't see it.

Just a few posts ago you said this info didn't come from any credible draft source.  The rankings are from the War Room, a feature service provided by The Sporting News. Here's more info:
