Some help here with a question about Juco's in Kansas.
I read recently in the Garden City paper that the Broncbuster had 85 players still on the roster, but had to be down to 55 players by the first game. Of those 55 only 12 could be from out of state. Are the players that are cut redshirted or just sent home packing. Classes started the 15th of August they have spent some academic time.
Also do Juco's have scholarships to give or are all these kids paying their own way? Just curious. I never have paid a whole lot of attention to them at all.

The players that don't make the team are typically offered a redshirt. Some stay, some don't.
Yes, Juco's have scholarships. But as you said, the Jayhawk conference has a rule that limits the number of out of state scholarships that they can give.
