I did some figuring using latest rankings of "smartest states" to see which conference has the dumbest fan base. Yes, I was bored. Anyways, I found the average ranks of the home states of each conference's football members. The "brain power" score is the average rank among member states.

6. C-USA (32.67)

8. Sunbelt (35.15)
9. SEC (37.42) -Not one member state in top half

11. Pac 10 (43.4)-Not one member state in top half
This goes to show that Auburn fans have an extremely dumb fan base.
