Damn! Beat me to it.

How bout it Op?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I didn't realize this guy was a HS prospect.  Calhoun has no chance vs. Huggins.

Calhoun has no chance vs. Huggins.

I wouldn't necessarily say that, but with martins connections with alvarez, I would say Huggs has the upper hand.  I bet he will be the third player signed.  I would like to see Tatum in a wildcat uniform next year but I think Tennessee pretty much has him locked up.

Why did all those schools quit recruiting him ?

Top schools left recruiting him are  Minnesota and Oregon St.

I think schools realized that Baldonado was more of a tweaner and hard to project at the major D1 level.  It sounds like he has sort of an "unconventional" post game similar to what Massey was, but not necessarily of that ability.  IMO, better to take a chance on Colon who would be more of a HS project than Baldonado who is somewhat of a JUCO project and hard to project at the major D1 level.

KSU_Fan is correct. Colon is more a classic 5. Face it - between Colon and Bennett, think they can't duplicate the five points and five rebounds Dramane Diarra gave them this year?

Does this mean Hughes will be playing the point?

If Huggins can pull in Colon I think we will definatly have plenty of height on the team with 4 players 6'10" or taller.  I'm not sure how good tyler hughes and Daren Kent are.  What type of impact do you think they will have next season?  Do you think Colon would start over either of them?  Since I have been a die hard UC fan I need a little fill in. thanks

That kind of depends on whether or not Hughes is down to a pack a day and Kent has pushed the scales past 200 yet.

so funny story about tyler hughes and smoking.

im standing in icat a couple years ago during a game and hughes can barely make it up and down the court and its really starting to piss me off b/c he sucks on top of the fact that he cant run so i am yelling about him sucking the whole game and i say "what the f@#$?  does he smoke a pack a day or something?"  and some d-bag in front of me turns around and yells that he has asthma to me.  i then see hughes out at the bars after the game smoking.  i dont know if he has asthma or not but he definately smokes a lot and is a total waste of space.  i dont think i have ever hated a kstate basketball player with the intensity that i hate hughes because of how big of a dumb@ss he is.  he shouldnt play at all next year and doesnt belong at any BCS conference school.  that said he does seem to get the most lucky rebounds of anyone i have ever seen play basketball.  im convinced he has some kind of magical powers that make the ball bounce directly to him no matter how out of position he is for the rebound.
