More and more getting pumped for the upcoming season.  I was looking down our roster on kstatesports and I saw a couple of things that made me curious.  First of all, I noticed that Derek Meyer is up to 310 lbs.  That seems quite a bit more than his playing weight last year.  Does anyone know if this is muscle he's put on or just weight?  Sure hope that he can step up his play in the line, we really need to have a good line this year.   Also, I saw that Antwon Moore is listed as a DB on the site.  Is he switching back to safety?  If so, is it because of the 3/4 scheme?  I really think he will be better at that position.  He was really too small to be a LB.  Although one of the most exciting LB's we've ever had was Josh Buhl.  Man do I ever miss him!!

Meyer is listed as 9 pounds heavier than he was on last year's roster. Check back in August to see what his playing weight is then.

Antwon Moore has always been listed as a DB on the roster, but he has always played outside linebacker. If you check his bio, you will see that they call him an outside linebacker. I'm told he is not switching to safety. He had a full shoulder reconstruction after the season -- that requires some extensive rehab, so hoepfully he's ready to go at OLB by August. FWIW, Moore's playing weight is about 10-15 pounds more than what Josh Buhl weighed on his heaviest weigh-in. Of course, Buhl was always listed about 20 pounds heavier than he really was, but Prince puts the players' actual weights on the official site once they've weighed in.
