It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

There is no doubt that the staff is very good at evaluating talent, hard part is getting them to come here.

Despite the 1* he actually looks like a decent prospect.  Good schools list, good stats.  Why the 1 star?

Look at the column under "Offers."  See any "Yes"'s?  Didn't think so.

1 star means that he hasn't been evaluated usually.

No way they take 3 high school QBs.  Maybe the baseball kid has told them he's going baseball.

Not taking enough QBs is a problem in general and it's been one of ours in particular.  The truth is that you can't tell who is going to pan out, so you need to increase your chances that you will have one guy that does.  Additionally, we're pretty screwed if Freeman falls on his face this year.

Well, not every year.  But I don't see what the problem is in one particular year.

but only if you expect one to change positions, one is a grayshirt, or something like that. You can't lose your entire qb depth chart when they all graduate together as seniors.

Not to mention, we don't have room for 3 qbs in this class or 5-6 on the entire roster --too many other spots have to be filled.

We are going to lose 50% of our current OL after the 2008 season. We might have a pretty good line next year.

I doubt Kassavanoid makes it if he really throws in the 90's consistantly someone will draft him.  I say take the kid based on athletic potential, let him try qb and fall on his face then put him at wideout with his size and speed.

A warrior like that deserves a scholarship and you figure out the position later.
