We were 46th in Athlon and Sporting News.  Lindy's had us 55.  Phil Steele ranks a top 40 and we were not in it.

Texas was 2,5,6, and 6 in those mags
OU was 3, 7, 10 and 13
NU was 18, 22, 23 and 25
Mizzou was 19th in Phil Steele
aTm was ranked in 3 of the 4 (between 18-25)

ku was picked 5th once and 4th three times in the North    Hey, after 11 straight years of not cracking the top half of the North... is this a surprise?

No kidding, have Josh returning and that being his 3rd year as a starter....you know how that worked out for Ell. And then with Hogan, Brown, Murphy, Pierce, & Cedric Wilson  being the WR's..........TE with Jeron Mastrud & Cooper Bassett and O-Line experienced as @#%$......and possibly adding Chris Harper into WR is just plain deadly.......with Leon at RB.....

Defense: Patterson, Walker, Campbell, A. Moore, Chandler, Moore, Cheatham, Moran.........Arthur Brown???

I forgot Wilson had 3 years with us...   For some reason I was thinking this was his senior year... had to go look to make sure.   We should be stacked at WR for the next 2 years... if half of our recruits pan out.

It wasn't that long ago that if we were picked 3rd in the north, everyone would be super-pissed.  I long for those days again...
