Shouldn't the facebook stalkers have this figured out by now?  I'm disappointed in their progress here.

With Huggs putting in Walk-ons and not letting Yearby sniff the court it looked like he was surely leaving.  Now, I would still assume so but it is harder to say with the new staff

Yearby is probably torn.  Leave and go play a lot somewhere else, or stay and contribute in practice and possibly be part of something HUGE! KSU BABY!

The walk-ons aren't on scholarship are they?  Like Franklin or Patzwald. I like Patzwald! I wish he would of never cut his hair.

There is a reason they are called "walk-ons".

Thats my point.  They were letting the supposedly undeserving of scholarship players play before Yearby.  Would seem they don't think he is worthy of a scholly or whether they do or not, that it is a waste giving him one.

I don't really care now that we have 2 good players for our open schollies.  If we could find a good 5 spot player that would be fantastic, but pickings are slim.  If Yearby goes, we probably replace him w/ Gilbert.  That's like switching out one Dr. Thunder for another.  Yearby only saw the court when Cartier's headband fell off and Coach needed someone to pick it up for him.  Gilbert would only see the court when Beasley needs his shoes tied.  Right now the only "need" we have is for an effective big man.  If we can't get that then we are really just switching out one walk on quality player for another.  The only thing that would bug me is if Kent left.  He could be valuable in Bench minutes.

I'd take Soto even though he couldn't play next year.

Fitz said there are no other bigmen out there other than Samuel.  He said Georgetown was after him too.

Said Yearby is a tweener. Not big enough to be a big man. Not fast enough to play with faster SF/SGs.

Said the guard from cali juco who was a player of the year last season. Said he had injuries that hurt his season. Forgot his name.

That would be a good pickup too.  I can't remember, is he point?

Yes was an RSCI top 100 player in 06.  Definitely a true point guard.

That would be the only other player I could see us taking this year. Other than that we should just leave it for '08 when we aren't sure how many scholarships are going to be free. Right now there is only 3 or 5. If we only have three to give for next year, who would we give them to? Witherspoon, Woods, and Kadji?

We'll have at least 4 to give (Beaz and/or Walker will be generously giving their's up).

I agree with the guy above.  Send Yearby to Woolly.  They'll both be happy.
