Re: Heard on Radio in So. Cal. Mayo considering...
You guys are crazy if you think Beasley, Walker, or Mayo will play at WVU. USC and K-State will NEVER provide "releases" that allow a transfer to WVU next year. All would have to sit out a year to make the move........why would they do that...when they'll apply for NBA draft eligibility after the 1 year anyway.
No...if you want to start "researching" who you might get now that you have Huggs....look up the history of Tyree Evans. Signed w/ UC....didn't make grades........went to prep school...........was CONVICTED of sexual assault..........ended up at a Kansas JC. Despite K-State's love affair with Huggs...early last year the K-State AD came out and made a statement that "K-State would not actively recruit Tyree Evans" due to his academic and criminal background. Fast forward 3 months to March '07...and 'ol Huggs had battered his new AD down to the point that all the recruiting services had K-State back recruiting a Mr. Tyree Evans! I'm thinking it won't be more than a couple days before you'll be hearing of Mr. Evans interest in WVU! Congrats to you guys............you made a deal w/ devil. Mr. Evans is the new "profile" of the WVU player of the future.......get used to it.

I think that once KSU hires a coach and he gives them the chance to stay, they will release them if they want to leave.

Not bitter at all. Just telling you there is NO WAY KSU will release Beasley to transfer to WVU. If you watched the KSU press conference tonight, you probably saw the most overt public display of adminstrative bitterness ever conveyed in one of these situations .........with the KSU AD barely able to contain his disdain for Huggins. They might "release" Beasley alright ...out of sympathy for the kid...but according to NCAA rules a school may "release" a player to transfer while at the same time specifically PROHIBITING that player from transfering to certain schools. Beasley ain't coming.
I'm telling...you guys will get Tyree "The Rapist" Evans............great shooter (all time leading HS scorer in VA HS history)......and 1 hell of human being! "Great kid" as Huggs like to say!!
