If he's not at least 5-3 in conference this year, he should be out.  Your post seems to indicate that as long as we beat one of those three every year, the fans will be happy.  If you've read either Phog.net or Jayhawkslant, and I know you have, you'd know that more people are either borderline or currently unhappy with Mangino than are satisfied with how he's done.

That's weird I didn't realize in Lowrents that message board posters actually made the hirings and firings, I would have guessed the institution handled that.  I guess that's a lack of institutional control.

So, UoK goes 7-5 (4-0 noncon & 3-5 con) & goes to a bowl...he should/will be fired?  He pads the noncon so people will overlook the con.  That didn't work out this past year as he stupidly scheduled an away game in noncon.   It is pretty safe to say that MM is a good coach in Memorial stadium against unranked opponents, who are not in the B12 southern division.
