    Ready for Maize girls!
so i know that brad underwood played at KState and was Director of Basketball Operations last year.  but this year, he's an AC, and he's gonna have to recruit now.  so my question is, where does underwood have his ties?  hell, does he even have any recruiting ties?

JUCOs.  He was head coach at a Florida Juco I believe.  Martin said he would be in charge of JUCOs and in-state high schools.  He's a native Kansan and a K-State alum.

Yeah, he was a head coach at a CC in Daytona.

I'm pretty sure he's responsible for K-State getting
Blake Young, cause Young was being recruited pretty
hard by Washington if I remember correctly.

Brad is really charasmatic, friendly, and genuinely loves k-state, I think it will be great to get him in the recruiting process.  I know that wasn't your question but for those that haven't had a chance to talk to him much I wanted to give you a heads up on what I thought about him.  Next time I talk to him I'll bring it up and ask him, I'd really like to know also.

Latest stint was in FL JUCOs as HC.  Also an assistant at Western Illinois and coached in KS JUCOs as well as starting out in small college in TX.

Garth Gardiner could land K-State a 5-star player ...

He just needs an opportunity.

Wayne Simien came from KS.  If he recruits a guy like that, I'm happy.

No, we need more junction city guys.

Maybe we can send him to recruit the ivory coast or france.  I'm sure he has connections there.

Do they play basketball in Pakistan or India?  I bet there's a load of talent that's unexplored there.

I think we need to recruit Iraq.

Imagine it, an iraqi straps a bomb to his chest every game and plays for us.  Nobody would want to guard him, and if someone were to guard him, he could threaten to blow himself up.

I think it could it work.

Sorry Rusty, I just noticed this question.  It's been reported a couple of times.  Here's a link to the Hutch paper.  Just googled to find this, but it's the not the original article I found it in.  I think I saw a direct quote the first time.
