James Franklin, a walk-on at K-State, lost his father last night in a car accident. His parents were on their way to Coffeyville when a truck crossed over on Highway 75 and struck their vehicle. His mother is being released from the hospital today. I went to middle school and high school with James at Washburn Rural until he moved to Blue Valley. James is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and his family is first class all the way. Please keep James and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
