We lose Moses Manu and Rob Jackson after this year.  Our only good defensive end could be Abana.

We gain Payton Kirk (yuck) and Raphael Guidry (decent offers I guess).  Losing out on Sonier and Daniels the year before doesn't help any.

With Arthur Brown, an extra year of experience for our 07 linebackers, and veterans like Walker, and Moore, do we move Campbell and Childs back to defensive end?  Sounds like they would need to bulk up a lot though.

Another problem could be in the secondary, with Garvin (best player IMO), Baldwin, and McKinney leaving.  However, Moore is solid, and Cheatham sounds like he is getting the hang of things.

I thought Baldwin or Garvin was a junior this year?

Our defensive line recruiting has been a train wreck since 03/04.

They'll be seniors for 07-08.

Agreed, we have to go juco heavy at DE this next recruiting year.  Appears Prince is re-establishing some juco ties and forging new ones to schools Snyder didn't recruit heavy.  We used to own GCCC and get nothing from Butler.  Hopefully we can get back the former and start the later.

Thought i heard Balkcom was working at DT and DE.   He is a Jr, so he could contribute next season.

I think He's a little short to play DE, however he was Key in alot of those great short ydg, stops we had this year.  He'll get a lot of time when we are in 4 and 5 down lineman sets.  Don't expect to see him much in the true 3-4.

Maybe for 2008 we'll switch from a 3-4 to a 0-7.

I'll assume that you're a KSU fan, since you keep saying "we."  Are you going to make a decent point anytime soon, or just attempt to spread your negativity throughout the board?  Have some faith, if RP screws up royally in the future, then the situation will be handled at that time.  Until then, cheer for your team and put a damn smile on your face!

Kendall could play DE in the 3-4 perhaps. Not sure about Faustin. But you're right -- we'll need a couple DE guys who are ready to contibute from day one in this next class.
