Looks like Sharon "Fatty" Collins had a hurt knee.  He was a puss about it too:

Quote
The practice before we played UCLA, he was crying, it (his left knee) hurt so bad. You could tell it was killing him. He was limited and didn’t play up and down (at practice) the last two weeks of the season.

Hey Bill, you should have taken him out for a Big Mac after practice.  That would have made it all better.

I can't believe a fat basketball/football player has knee problems.  Shocking!

Sorry, I'm too lazy to look it up but, how many minutes did Collins play the last 2 games?  I'm sorry, they have plenty of quality players.  If Collins was hurting that badly and it affected his game that much, then Self should have set him down and played the others more.  If that's what was making him play poorly, then poor coaching is at fault, because you just don't let him on the floor much when the pain is too much for him to play well.

So if you're Chalmers or Robinson what are you thinking?

I'm not sure what Chalmers thinks but I can tell you want Robinson is thinking (if you want to know).

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

So what is Robinson thinking?

It just seems there is a trend with ku guards:

2005: Robinson is the answer.
2006: Chalmers is the answer.
2007: Collins is the answer.

2008: Reed is the answer?

Not a guard, but I think it's obvious next year that Aldrich is the answer:  a defensive stopper + scorer in the post who will give the guards a go-to guy at crunch time so they don't have to dribble around and try to get a shot off themselves in the lane.

With Collins having to sit out to let his knee mend what's the O/U on his weight, 300 lbs?

The key with Aldrich will be whether or not he can set the "ku staple" perimeter ball screen and roll the basket wide-open but not be seen by the guards.
