Here's what I don't understand

...the Tourney chair says that if ku lost, they'd still be the #1 seed (so essentially, the conference tournament doesn't matter)....Arkansas gets to the finals and gets drilled and they are in (so essentially the conference tournament does matter)....KSU drills TT , has a better record and Tech gets in (so essentially the conference tournament doesn't matter).

It doesn't matter that we won.  Tech was tired and hadn't had the right cereal.

He stressed that they were happy enough that ku made the final.  Similarly, they were apparently happy that Arkansas made the final (only to get absolutely manhandled by Florida).  Pfft.
