Top 3 seeded teams

Big 12 -- ku 1, A&M 3, UT 4
ACC -- UNC 1, Maryland 4, Virginia 4
SEC -- Fla 1, Tenn 5, Vandy 6
B10 -- OSU 1, Wisc 2, Indiana 7
Big East -- G'Town 2, Pitt 3, ND 6
Pac 10 -- UCLA 2, Oregon 3 Wash St 3

How can everyone keep telling us how bad the Big 12 is, yet the best teams are rewarded?

    The very best.
Great post.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

It's like when when the Big East and ACC were not very strong in football.  Miami and FSU often benefited in the late season rankings because they beat up on their relatively weaker conferences regardless of how they compared with the strongest teams from the strongest conferences.
