Should be in:

Texas Tech [21-11 (10-7), RPI: 45, SOS: 29] Jarrius Jackson must be wondering what happened to the rest of the Red Raiders. Jackson had 28 but the rest of the team combined for only 17 points in a bad-looking loss to Kansas State. The big wins on the profile (Texas A&M twice and Kansas) could very well be enough, but Tech is one of those teams that couldn't really afford a combo of a) getting pasted and b) having the bubble shrink by two spots in a matter of an hour or so. We'll take a longer look when the dust settles tomorrow.

Kansas State [21-10 (10-6), RPI: 57, SOS: 99] K-State cashiered Texas Tech and looks very solid to make its way into the bracket now. The weaker Big 12 North helps explain the weakish computer profile, but with 22 wins, 10 leagues wins and a semifinal berth in a top-five league, it would be very difficult to make a strong case for exclusion now.

They make it look as if we have one less win (Big 12 Tourney), while they give Tech credit for their tourney win but not their loss.

I would like to think this is a mistake, but I really wonder sometimes.

Any Big 12 team that wins 22 games...8 on the road..and 11 conference contests should get a shot in the tournament. Period.
