    The very best.
outside of the 10 wins, first day bye, etc...

No "what ifs"

What an awesome season.  :ksu:
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Unless we don't make the NCAA's (I believe we will so that won't be a concern).

    I miss him ^^
I think "what ifs" have to involve one or two plays that could have changed the game.  For example, what if Cartier had hit those three free throws at CSU.  Another road win, and we would be 22-9 which looks really good.  I can't see how @Cal and @New Mexico can be what ifs.  What if we had scored 30 more points in those games??

Most satisfying thing about this season?

1) They (the administration) by making this hire, got me back in Bramlage.  I stayed away for the last two seasons because I felt they had not done enough to put a real winning product on the floor. They seemed happy that the place was half full and that Wooly was giving his best.
Hiring Huggs put me back in a (new) seat, that I split with one of my brothers.  It's not that I didn't think Wooly was a good guy, because he is/was, but I felt early on that he couldn't get it* done.

2) That Huggs brought the same fire he had at Cinci to Manhattan.  For the last several seasons the attitude of "we're trying" seemed to be the status quo for MBB.  Not any longer.  Taking this collection of athletes and building on their strengths, while trying to minimizing/hide their weaknesses was the difference between Huggs and the last three coaches.  Winning games down the stretch where, in the past decade, our guys were sure to cough up.  Winning 10 conference games with a collection of tweeners and athletes is -imo- nothing short of COY recognition.

3) Ability to recruit on a scale that KSU has never really enjoyed.

4) I'm ecstatic about MBB again.  Very satisfying.

*it being finishing top 4 in conference.
