Solid piece on KSU's chances...

We can bash guys like Palm and Lunardi all we want, but those guys spend way more time looking at this than most.  Are they wrong sometimes?  Of course, but clearly the closer to the end of the season we get the more accurate they become.  One of the teams that is used as an example essentually punched their ticket last night.  The margin for error is very slim now, I think tonight is as close to "must win" as you can get.  I'd like to make things pretty difficult to the committee by getting another decent win, our 2nd road win vs the south, and a step toward likely finishing 11-5.  I simply don't think they can leave a BCS team out with 11 wins, no matter what division they play in nor the percieved strength of the league.  Leave this thing for chance at the Big 12 tournament and things will get much more dicey.

10-6 won't get it done without 2 wins in the tourney, the perception of the big 12 is such that a 10-6 team whose best wins are at texas and USC.  And the at texas win is discredited time after time by the analysts because they say "well this isn't the same texas team that lost to ksu a month ago" blah blah blah.  We've got to win out to be in.

    shame on you, non-believers
I just don't like the fact that the game at The Dead Spot tonight is a must-win. I feel OSU will come out with an extreme sense of urgency.

I like our chances tonight.  OSU has all but cashed it in.  Everybody I talk to on a daily basis is pretty down on the team.  It is senior nightt and the place will be packed and crazy, but I still have a feeling.  We are overdue.   :ksu:

10-6 + a 1st round victory over Tech =  :dancin:
