There was a pregame confrontation between fans while the teams were warming up.

Three male K-State fans ran up to two female ku fans, who were holding a sign that read, 'Allen Fieldhouse West." One of the KSU fans grabbed the sign and tore it in half.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

    Not A Basketball Player
Between the "pep" rally and the game, Pullen, Blake Young, and Jason Bennett were shooting while sitting on the benches. It was a little entertaining.

lol but not a better shooter than JB?  because i've seen JB miss a lot of 4 footers, but maybe he's good from 35 feet. sitting down.

    I said throw down, boy!!
By many accounts I've heard, Bennett has a decent stroke.  I think his, and Colon's, biggest problem is that they play tight.  They never seem to relax in the game.  We've seen flashes of what might be....Colon knocking down a jumper from the elbow (?? game), Bennett hitting a pretty smooth turnaround on the baseline (UT game?).  I think even Huggins has said that these guys have decent offensive performances....during practice.  They just haven't been able to translate it into the games.

It's gone like this... Colon is lights out in practice and just dominates. Bennett swears to Huggs that he can hit jump shots. Huggs tells him to stick to blocks and rebounds.

And Pullen and Walker were there until midnight the other night shooting around the perimeter. It was beautiful.
