Apparently a very good defensive end.  One of the best in Texas.  Prince apparently made a stop at his school some time ago and really impressed him.  Several offers from very good schools, including Notre Dame, Texas, LSU, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Texas Tech, and Northwestern.

I'm going to go ahead and say that there is no chance in hell that we get that guy.  And I'm an optimist when it comes to recruiting.

you're right I haven't.  What this shows me though is that we have been on some absolute studs very early on.  There was a recent update on a dlineman from oklahoma who has us high basically because we were his first offer and he feels like he owes it to us.

I wouldn't knock myself out about what these attention whores are saying now about who their favs are or what they are saying on their myspace pages or any of that crap.  It's freaking febuary.  They havn't even taken any officials yet.  The only thing they are doing now is trying to create as much hype about themselves as possible.  If your still in the top 2 come Septemeber or october  you might have something but I don't even start reading recruiting updates, except for the kids that already have commited for the 08 class until atleast the end of summer.

Two schools have already emerged as early favorites.

"It's probably Kansas State and LSU," King said. "I like Kansas State because they had a coach come to our school and from what I've learned, it seemed like a good program. I like LSU because it's close to home, but then at the same time, it's not home."

What an attention whore, saying KSU is in his top 2.  He has no offers yet so I'm not going to get too excited about him yet.  He does have great size though.  What's up with you always coming here, thinking you are a top recruiting expert.  I bet that at the time you thought that there was no way that Freeman would switch over to KSU.  Unless you're Crabtree, Talman, a scout, whoever, I don't think you should come in here with the elitist attitude that you have.  What's wrong with posting about somebody who says KSU is one of his top 2?

your right, I had no idea.  I thought freeman was a man of honor and integrity.  But I guess if you can't sell yourself to the kid you go out and purchase his father.  That is a type of recruiting that Nebraska will not get involved with, never have, never will.  Bribery is such an ugly and dishonorable thing.  it will all work out though.   We were lucky to find out about his charecter before he became a husker.  Now, hopefully we can hit him so hard  we will turn his brain to mush and he can sell crack, like prince did while he was at college

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Give me a freaking break Freeman doesn't have enough integrity to play for NU but you guys are all  humping each other legs over getting the Keller kid for one season.  There is a reason why his teamates went to the coach and said they didn't want him as their starting QB.  If he has the kind of talent that all the NU fans are saying don't you think there is a reason he ran into the problems he did at ASU?  He may welll be a fine player for you guys just like Lawrence Phillips, Christian Peter or others but don't come here preaching this character BS.
