    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Simply no doubt that UdUb is a KSU sister school.

We should alert their administration of the great honor we've bestowed upon them.

I'm a grad student at UW.  Actually, the undergraduate engineering programs at UW and KSU strike me as very much alike.  Student pride?  Not so much.  I see more Stanford, UT, and Cal sweatshirts here (combined) than UW sweatshirts.  Quite sickening.  I guess maybe these are people who got into grad schools at these places and want everyone to know - whatever.  Most UW students are surprisingly apathetic about politics too, so I'd say that it's similar to KSU in that respect too.  Who knew?  Manhattan has fallen far behind Seattle, I must admit, in lime-green-jacketed, spandex-clad, slow-moving-vehicle-sign-wearing safety cyclists.  Way behind.

Yeah, I did undergrad at K-State.  Like most people I knew at K-State, I thought, "meh, K-State is okay - not great" before graduating.  Well, bro, I'm here to tell you that K-State is the biggest bargain on the face of the earth.  Honestly - I doubt that more than a handful of small, private schools could really give you anything different for undergrad.  Most professors at K-State get paid to TEACH, not to publish.  That is truly a great thing for undergrads.

I wouldn't say that it's "hard" to get in, but that's kind of relative (I also looked at UMich, UCSB, Berkeley, and UIUC).. I don't really know what you mean by academic elitists, to be honest with you.  I'd be happy to answer that if you want to elaborate.

I called them apathetic, which means that they don't care...didn't I?

I would think udub would care more about politics, especially if they all come from Standford and Cal and such (sister schools).
