    The very best.
8:20 pm game playing the 6th seed (maybe 11th if Aaron Bruce doesn't pull a Pasco?) = dream/come/true.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    It's time to hit it.
does anyone else find it odd that the #1 seed plays the earliest tip off instead of the more prime time "friendly" later games?

No, because the 1-8 matchup is usually the least "TV friendly".

Wasn't it Mizzou one year that made it all the way to the championship game from the first round?  I'm thinking it was in Kemper, probably in the first year or two of the Big XI conference.  They lost to ku, IIRC.

Mizzou also made it in 2003...almost beat OU.

Looks like OSU made it as a 5 seed, too.

i just want an early game(s).  the 5 or 4 seed would be good for me.

We...... might not even MAKE the Big XII Tourney and all you guys can talk about is what seed you want!!!!   .......

ONE GAME AT A TIME GENTLEMEN........ (And KatKid, Hi KatKid!! )

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

if fans on the road have never scored a point or grabbed a rebound...

and fans at home have to pack the stands in order to win...

what is the impact of fans at neutral site tourneys?

Based on the schedule...I'd prefer the 1/4 seed as the 2/3 seeds (especially 3) get the least amount of rest before Sat's game.

okay, just found out that I will be going down through OKC to TX and back during the tourney, and the site linked above says they are already sold out!?!?  Damn it, what do you guys think the chance of scalping at a decent price might be?  Are there any available through the schools?  Ideas?  SOB

Scalping is VERY easy at these things.  Most fans only go to watch their team.

Some of my friends who graduated from Mizzou actually buy their tickets to this thing from the Colorado site.  Apparently they're always cheaper(because Colorado fans don't care about basketball) and somewhat decent seats.

Scalping for Friday isn't always easy.  In 2005 it was IMPOSSIBLE.

By Sunday, though, people were giving away OSU/Tech tickets.

Scalping for Friday is best done on THURSDAY night.

dang it, now it's getting complicated again...crape.   Most likely I'll be coming back through during Friday afternoon, get a room and head out to the arena.  Maybe the matchups will fall in a fashion that works better, though I cannot fathom yet what that is.  Think I'll call CU tomorrow.  Damn, my ex is out there getting her phd, nope, not going to make that call.......

whatever would help us avoid playing ku in the first game would be the best option.  we will need a win.
