While I was in Mancrappy visiting friends last week, some KSU fans informed me of their plan to chant "monkey" at Russell Robinson this coming monday. My how things have changed in the last quarter century.
Ha Ha Donnie Von Moore was a great guy, I worked at the K.U. training table at the towers in highschool as a punk dishwasher and loved it. I got to play poker with him and Rick Suttle, that team was picked to do nothing in 1971 my senior year of highschool and made it to the final 4 on heart. The K-State thing was only one small part of Donnie Vons life......
