My friend the huge Shins fan called me up because one of his other friends backed out.  Don't know their music too well beyond Garden State, but hey, the show's sold out, so at least I'll be crushed by hundreds of people.

lou reed is one of my favs.
Not altogether sure. I'm a bigger fan of his Velvet Underground stuff. Prince McJunkins and I both agreed that it sounded dead-on for Reed.
