Whenever Norm Stewart would lose a tough game to KSU, he would always be extremely bitter.
I remember several incidents with Norm in the post game at KSU. One when we still played at Ahearn. He was all pissed off about the refs and then had to climb those stairs up to the old pressbox at Ahearn and then he proceeded to whine and bitch and moan for the entirety of his postgame show about everything KSU and the refs.
Also back when Bramlage first opened MU would bring in some pretty good teams and KSU would give them fits. After one KSU win over MU I guess some KSU fan made harmless but kind of snide remark to Norm and he proceeded to interupt his postgame show and just absolutely went off.
It's good to see that old time bitterness about KSU come back to MU . . . it's starting to look like the Larry "O for KSU" Smith days at MU again, only this time in basketball.
