I think they look pretty nice.  I'm not sure what people were expecting, enclosed boxes like suites in the football stadium?  That doesn't make much sense b/c your inside.  This gives folks a lot of what they want; they can spend a bunch of money to park close, come right in the Octogon and get to their seat quick and not go down a bunch of stairs, and then be able to watch on the TV while enjoying a drink.  They'll sell easily.  And remember, most folks aren't like us and don't want to be right in the heart of the action, this feeling of almost being there while being there is right up a lot of folk's alleys, plus the status of having a "loge seat" when the Cats are competing for titles.

I'm with Rusty on this one.  Those don't look like $3000/seat to me.  Maybe $1000.   That looks like a glorified press box, not a $3,000 box seat.

It's especially crazy when you can get courtside seats for $1000 more.

But you can't booze it up during the game courtside ... at least not officially.

Nope.  A ku fan not understanding how a fan could become disassociated from his university doesn't surprise me.

If things continue they have the last two games, they can put them on the other side. Those big pocket people will be upset and have their boxers all up in a bunch becuase they have students standing in front of them. This old/rich folk will be discouraging to the studnet body. Stick them over with the rest of the donors...the ones that sit.
