MU fans also need to realize that although their coach is known for his agressive style, he didn't exactly tear up CUSA with it while he was there. Anderson was 23-24 on the road at UAB with 14 of those wins coming against teams with RPIs of 200 or higher. In fact, if he was to bring his MU team in here, it would be one of the best road wins he's ever head, maybe only topped by a win over fellow conference foe Charlotte (#35 RPI) in 03-04. His best win the last couple years on the road was at Nebraska last year.
IMO, in a physical Big 12 you need to be able to defend great in the half court, rebound, and control the ball in the half court unless you recruit wildly, and I'm not sold Anderson will do that. I'll be interested to see how successful "40 minutes of hell" is over the next few years in this league, especially on the road. I'll be very disappointed if MU comes to Manhattan and leaves with a win tomorrow.
