Well, apparently my DVD recorder uses the VRO format (which is standard or maybe not I don't know) . . . so instead of just putting a new DVD in late at night and letting it copy one by one. I thought I'd do a conversion on my PC, since ROXIO and other burning software doesn't seem to like the VRO format in terms of burning it to a DVD.
But the file got corrupted, because I also tried to edit it down, because the DVR got another 30 minutes of the DirectTV signoff at the end.
So, I'll pull another file off the DVR tonight, am I figuring out how to use the editing software. I'll get the file converted, edit it down, and then start burning DVD's.
I am pretty new to all of this video transfer/editing stuff, so be patient.
