"He's going to have some lingering effects from that kind of hit," coach Ron Prince said. "But as far as his ability to play again, I believe he will, but I'll wait until I get the final report from the medical people. (There are) some very encouraging signs."
Prince said Moore attended a team meeting on Sunday and was in good spirits.
Moore was injured during the third quarter of the Wildcats' game at Kansas. After colliding with teammate Chris Carney, he was treated on the field for about 10 minutes before being strapped to a gurney and taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was released later that night.
