catzacker is showing how big of a &*$@!ing idiot he is, once again. Mizzou already have four losses. If they lose again they will have five. The lost to NU, TAMU, OU, and ISU. Mizzou will beat ku and will tie with us for 2nd. ku will finish fourth. CU fifth. and ISU sixth.

I thought MU was sitting at 4-3.  That's my mistake.  Yes, I'm an idiot this time.  You on the otherhand are an f-ing idiot every day.

You also thought the big 12 goes out of their way to determine tie-breakers for 2-34-5-6th place big 12 north teams.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

You enjoy mythical ties for 2nd and big 12 north titles.

I have no problem with the CCG. Nothing more thrilling than watching your team in the CCG.

did you have no problem with the CCG in 98?

I had no problem with it being played....I did have a problem with the fact we p!ssed down our leg...it wasn't the system's fault it was the fact we had 'em beat and couldn't finish.

It stunk to lose to ku.  Very disappointing.

However, 7-5, 4-4 and a bowl trip is nice.  Its a step.  Maybe not as big a step as we hoped for a week ago, but a bigger step than we ever thought possible a month ago.  You are never as good (see Texas) or as bad (see ku) as you look.  We're somewhere in between.  Go to a bowl, win our 8th game, and look forward to next season.  It will still stink to lose to ku, but all in all a pretty darn good season.

I really think we are on the right track, all the guys making plays right now, Nelson, Freeman, Patton, Johnson, Mastrud, are back next year.  And the middle of our Oline.  I really hope we find some tackles that can play offensively.

Defensively the front 7 scares me.  I'm glad we return the bookends and our entire secondary which could be a good thing.  Most of the secondary will be 3rd year starters, and so hopefully we can be good enough against the pass that we can load the box to stop the run.  We'll just have to see who emerges this spring in the middle of the defense.  Go Justin Roland!

Yeah, there are questions there.

The thing about stopping the run is that its much different now.  We've got to be more sound at the LB and DT spots b/c teams will continue to spread us out and split our defense like ku did.  CU did it some too.  UT as well.  Its getting tougher as the game shifts b/c teams are throwing out 3 and 4 WR, 1 back sets and you have to account for those recievers.  Then they zone you to death between the tackles with a mixed QB run game.  That is something we'll need to develop or scheme for next season.  Of course it will help to not lose 3 of our 4 starters in the secondary.

I'm hoping Crews and Kendall can make an impact, but it will be tough to rely on them.  I like Moran, where is Faustin?

The old staff landed one DT from 03-05.  Moran.

I don't know how our run defense is going to get better with Echols leaving.  I don't see anyone on our roster that can fill his spot.  Cline is okay and Moran is inconsistent.  Kendall and Crews are too young and inexperienced to be relied upon.  It's going to be interesting next year defensively.

We've got to be great against the pass, and sell out against the run.
