1.  At this point Josh Freeman needs to realize that he's not as much of a superstar as we've wanted to make him out      to be.

2.  I don't want to hear anything about injuries, we played sh*tty, end of story.

3.  So I'm not sure what I would rather have had at this point... a win against TX or a win against ku.

Son of a bitch this sucks.

    Overkill. It works.
Sure it does.  It ALWAYS sucks losing to a rival, but we'll live to fight another day.  And we STILL get another month to practice for a bowl game--that's going to do nothing but help us.

Props to ku--good game.  Enjoy it.  You benefitted greatly from an inspired effort and us playing like crap.

It's good to be good again!
During the 4th qtr I told my fiancee (who is a UT fan and was with me in Manhattan last week) that I would trade the Texas win for the ku loss in a heartbeat.  Other than games that directly effect us getting hardware ku is the most important game on the schedule to me.  The Texas win was nice but I would much rather been able to pound ku and lose to Texas.

The funny thing is that's exactly what Texas was thinking after last week's game.

So we might lose a couple of small-time in-state recruiting battles because of this.

With the texas win I bet we get a couple bigger recruits nationally.

People in texas/Florida/wherever saw the texas game big and bold.  This game was pretty meaningless to them.  Now, win the bowl game and we're almost golden.

And with the Mythigan/Suckeye game on at the same time, this game will be but a footnote somewhere at the bottom of the USA Today scores section.
