i can't tell if you are serious or not.  if so, what was so poor?

i was only able to listen to the ku broadcast.  they may have the only broadcast team in the big 12 worse than ksu's.  it was pretty hard for me to follow along.  i'm pretty sure ku won, and also pretty confident that everyone allowed near the mike would happily fellate rush if given the chance.  couldn't really gather too much more about what was going on in manhattan from their broadcast.

Defensive strategy and offensive strategy.  Mainly.  I didn't understand waiting until midway through the second half to go zone.  I didn't understand sitting Cartier for two minutes IMMEDIATELY after he drained a 3.  I didn't understand how the pick and roll confused us so much.  I don't understand why this team still doesn't know how to attack on-the-ball pressure.  I don't understand why Wooldridge got a fifth and six year.

And yes, ku has the only broadcast worse than ours.

I also don't understand why we couldn't take advantage of ridiculous mismatches on offense as a result of switching on screens - mainly Russell Robinson on Diarra.  Taybron was guarded by Jackson a couple times, too.  We never posted up Diarra when this occurred, and Taybron never took his man off the dribble when guarded by klutzy and klutzier at the three point line.

thanks for the recap.  shame ksu couldn't come up with a better effort than that in wooldridge's last reg. season game.

with respect to diarra-robinson, i think i can understand that.  diarra's only "move" is the face up jumper.  he is pretty good with that, but asking him to post up, be it against a center, a 6' point, or a min. poodle is outside of his skill set.

Good point, but he has a nice baby hook.  I would think at worst, he could draw a foul or fool the opposition into helping the poodle on D and kick it out.

Did you sit by me? That was the most ridiculous thing I've seen. He continued to sit him after the timeout as well. I think it was shortly after that where we had Yearby, Stewart, Tyler, Harris, and I believe Wright in the game. It was just simply the worst lineup I've ever seen. He decides to throw Diarra, Hoskins, and Martin in there after he realized it was the worst lineup he could put on the floor. He then sits down for like one second, gets up, and it's like, "WTF, Taybron, you get in there too." Watching Hoskins try to guard Rush was fun as well. Rush could've blown by anytime he wanted to and I was surprised he didn't do it more often.
