GOD FORBID anything happening to DT would Powell be able to take the leadership role for RB. I am thinking that it would be a lot like our 2004 run game. We had D.Sproles, but that’s about it and everyone knew it and the running game was kind of dead. DT can handle this because he is a power runner and can move a pile, DS had power but his strength was in speed and misdirection.
So, somehow, because you logged onto a message board, and read a quote that another guy wrote about Wefald, Wefald is "in your face?"  I'll go along with that.  I wish Hemmingway would get off my nuts.

I like to see Powell get the ball. He gets to and through the holes quickly. Maybe they should run the Wildcat Pistol. After all, Thomas was a quarterback. Can he pitch it to Powell?

Yes... thats what I am talking about.. I have wanted to see more Pistol since the start.  DT starts with the ball, goes to the left of course untill we get our starter back on the right, has two options, pitch back to powell who has to speed to take the edge or keep it himself and put his head down and move the pile 4-6 yards!  :notworthy:

We are forgeting one huge variable in this... Snyder is our coach. Although I am glad that we don't have to see Option right/Option left every other play and it has become a little harder for me to guess the play he's going to run, he is not going to change his playbook anytime soon.

I like this idea of the Wishbone, KSUftw and I were talking about this the other night while listening to the MoState game. A Wishbone with that package would be very powerful.
