    The very best.
If we had lost by a FG, people would bring this up.

Since we won, no one will care*

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Congratulations KSU for beating Texas without their best player. No honest KSU fan will convince me that KSU wins that game if McCoy plays the whole game.

Screw them all....  we won that's all that matters.  I can't wait for next weekend to be in Lawrence to laugh at all the hawk fans as soul-glo throws for 300+ yards.

It's not that simple. Prince made some very questionable calls tonight. The fake punt early was one of the dumbest calls I've ever seen. I quess you could say it told his kids he was going all out, but it happened right after Texas lost their QB.

Maybe it was scripted, but if it wasn't it was a horrible decision and it gave UT a TD.

Add to that the fact that McCoy was injured because of awesome hard hitting D play on the goalline.  He was injured in the game not walking down the street or something......geez........how can any loser take away from what those boys did yesterday........they played with the most heart I've seen in a long time.......my hats off to the boys in purple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wholly agree that this is the reason that the quibble has no teeth.  Their back-up QB was only in because of our play on the field.

    Fear the Brick
I love other fans trying to put an asterisk by this game.  ku fans are just mad because they pissed down their legs against UT two years ago and lost and they are gay....NU fans are mad because they pissed down their legs this year against UT and lost and they are gay...MU fans are mad because they're starting their patented Gary Pinkel back-half-of-the-season downward spiral and haven't had a meaningfull win in decades and are gay.  Was Colt McCoy playing defense for UT?  We put up 45 points on a team that gives up 15.  I won't pretend to say that KSU is back to where it was in the late 90's early 2000's; this was an upset and we weren't supposed to win, but we went out and won that game.

The McCoy arguement is crap. UT ran a sneak he got injured, we are going to hit down there and Brown chose to stick him into it.  I'm not saying it was a bad call buit its the risk you take and it didnt pay off.  Much less, Snead played pretty well.  The only thing I think McCoy would've really done better is avoid a pass rush.  This wasn't some distant backup, this was a guy in the same position as Josh Freeman at the beginning of the season.  Snead didn't throw picks, wasn't fumbling the ball, and didn't miss a block on a punt.  I was impressed with the kid.

There's a new sheriff in town.
McCoy got injured on a play where he didn't even score, IMO.
Then they get a 2 yard scoring drive and a 5 yard scoring drive.
The refs did EVERYTHING they could to help Texas win this game, and they still couldn't pull it off.
You should be able to take any one person (including the QB) off of a top 5 ranked team and still be able to beat lowly, unranked KSU, right?
HA! I LOVE IT! We be Texas on national TV and everyone is whining about "yeah, but they didn't have their all-world :ksu: :ksu: QB"
Well too f'ing bad. I know we had lots of fans in Florida, South Bend, Louisville, So. Cal, etc. That didn't give a damn how we beat them, just as long as we did.
HUGE WIN, and a great day to be a WILDCAT!
