Finally, a story to pass along because it is too good to keep hidden. While K-State’s players were giving their thoughts after the game, an iPhone began ringing on the table. Kansas State basketball sports information director Tom Gilbert grabbed the phone, hung up on the call and held on to it. After the players finished, Gilbert asked the media whose phone it was, ready to give a lecture. A man approached the front of the room and claimed ownership.The man was Bobby Knight.Gilbert, without saying a word, handed the phone over and Knight left.My question is what would have happened to the poor schmuck who left his phone on in a similar fashion had it been seven years ago and Knight was addressing the media?
