That he looked like a porn star or that he was hired to replace Mike Kent, or both?

I was always impressed that for the past few seasons, uk players never seem to get injured. Is this due to the strength and conditioning coach? Luck? Deal with the devil?

Honestly, I've been out since taking a new job, but this is a great hire for you guys. Dawson is a terrific strength coach, and deserves as much credit as anybody for ku's turnaround (and really, none of the blame for ku's Jason Kidd 360-degree turnaround this past season).

He routinely was handed guys who were a few tenths of a second too slow on their 40 or not big or strong enough and turned them into players capable of competing at a high level (and then Reesing barfed on his shoes).

K-State is now relegated to taking ku's leftovers.  Wow... you can't make this stuff up, folks.

Careful - Mangino came from the Snyder tree of "the-press-is-the-devil-and-we-must-not-ever-let-them-know-the-truth" thought. Injuries were there - nobody was ever told about them unless you saw someone's leg busted on the feild and they couldnt get the guy off before the camera's saw it - Toben Opurum for eaxample.  :-X
