Wildcats coach Bob Huggins did not act like a coach who just watched his team win in triple overtime. He emerged from the locker room nearly an hour after the game ended, his voice raspy from the postgame speech.

"How hard is it to run back on defense? Is that a hard thing?" he asked rhetorically. "How many times did you see when we knocked a ball loose and we had guys that didn't even see that ball?

"When you spend as much time on defense as we do in practice, that shouldn't happen."

K-State's primary post players, freshman Luis Colon and senior Serge Afeli, combined to score 10 points.

When asked about the post game, Huggins replied, "What post game? I'm trying to find it.

"I bet we could put walruses out there that could catch the ball better than some of those guys."

    Overkill. It works.
OUCH.  I imagine a few of those egos have shrunk considerably by now.  Hopefully the most shrinkage has happened to the tallest guy on the team.  Sorry JB, but you don't need to be acting like a badass when you can't even get yourself right enough with Huggs to get on the floor.
