Great moves this offseason!  Now I can't pronounce anyone's name on the team.  Whatever happened to names like White, Wilson, Washington, and Pastorniki?

    The very best.
Best of luck to royals in 2006!
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Month? I'd settle for a winning week!

I've got tickets to 7 games. Might go to more, might go to less. Opening day is always full, so that is fun.

I love Opening Day.  My dad and bro and I had partial season tix last year (~20 games), but we didn't renew for this year after that debacle.

I'm kinda gonna miss them, though...they were good seats, first row of the upper deck behind and to the right of home plate.  The highlight was probably when Cleveland's Belliard hit foul balls up to us within about 4 pitches...my brother caught the first and I got the second.

Good plan. I wish I could do that. It's always nicest on days when I'm locked away in Hale or Nichols. Sonuvabitch, I hate school.

Zack "Diaper Boy" Grienke.

What a great way to start off the season!

What'd he do? I'm a little behind on my Royals news.

Left camp to go home for "personal reasons"

ALthough I might be a bit behind too, because as far as I know, the reasons are still "undisclosed".

Grienke sucked last year. Led the league in losses.  We should have kept him in AA for another year.

I'm not saying he was good, but you have to take into account the ridiculously low run support he got too.
