We were in Section 330 - just like Doc. We witnessed not less than three knock-down, drag outs in our section, alone. Security was up inour area the whole game. I thought this was supposed to be a ku section - bought the tix through kuAD. WTF? Why all the slavers in our area?

Doc, did you see the ku guy cold-c*ck the MU dude with the number 9 jersey on? It had to of been right in front of you.

I hate to say it, butselling the beer at the game causes more problems than it is worth.

It is less to do with selling beer at the game and more to do with pounding beers in the parking lot before.

Re: Who witnessed fighting at the game last night?

We were in one of the 320 sections, 323 I think.  We saw some verbal sparring but no physical fights.  All in all I didn't think the Mizzou fans were that bad this time.  Only issues I had were after the game walking through the parking lot, there was a lot of trash-talking but then again, had ku pulled off the W, I would probably have been the same way so I didn't think that much of it.

We were talking with some other ku fans for a postgame drink....an MU car drives by and starts spouting off. Long story short, their tiger tail went up in flames.

I saw two fights.  One was in the men's bathroom and another one where some dude got pushed over some seats.  After the game, a guy was changing his tire and there was glass from a broken car window all around the side of our car.  Thankfully they left my car alone.

I was down in 126 and there was a little playful banter but mostly we drank a lot of beer with some MU fans and had a good time. Almost felt like I was in the Twilight Zone or they just splurged on some primo meth for the game.

Re: Who witnessed fighting at the game last night?

As I was walking out I had a Mizzou fan come up to me and say, "hows it feel to get out coached?" I told him to shut the f*** up and leave me alone. He then pushed me down (he was prob. 6'5" 200ish).  Caught me off guard, but he didn't know I was with 3-4 guys about the same size as him.  He tired to fight all 7-10 people we with walking out with until security came and got him.

No fan base takes winning/losing worse then Mizzou.

Agreed.  Only near fight I saw was postgame -- two ku fans, one about 40 and the other around 55, going at it over the relative merits of retaining/whacking the big man.

An MU guy across the tunnel from the ku section I was in kept blowing kisses to us after good MU plays.  Finally a ku fan walked over to him and asked if he wanted to step out into the concourse and the guy got stark white and pretty much sat down the rest of the game.  Classic p*ssy.

Aside from the WT guy I mentioned in the other thread that lost a fight pretty badly to the security guards I didn't actually see a fight.

RE: Who witnessed fighting at the game last night?

I saw two groups of MU fans get removed, we were in a lower ku section.  There were probably 5 clusters of MU fans throughout the entire section, two groups got thrown out for trying to fight.  The first was just two really drunk MU fans refusing to stop yelling profanity, there were some kid's in the section, the parents texted them in.  The other was a really drunk MU guy that was yelling racial slurs, he was about to get beat up when security came and removed him.  The ku fans trying to fight him were alowed to stay.  He got removed to aplause by the entire section, even saw a couple of the other MU fans clapping for his removal.  A couple ku fans yelled, "thanks for removing these slavers" as he was being carried out.  The guy yelled / drunk mumbled, "the south will rise again."  His two friends that got thrown out with him looked really embarrassed and appoligized for him.  There were quite a few of the players families in our section too, he pointed at a couple of them when making some of the slurs.  It was a disgusting scene.  Happened at the begining of the fourth quarter.  I took solice in knowing he failed to see the outcome of the game because he was locked in a cell in the basement of Arrowhead till he dryed out.  They may have won the game but it's times like this I'm reminded and proud that we won the war.

They need to just post secruity at each entrance to the seating bowl and not allow ku people in MU sections and vice versa.  It causes too many problems.

I was in the middle of a Mizzou section. Straight up from where Meier caught his TD. All of them were pretty good just good banter by everyone involved.

It wasn't a fight, but I enjoyed seeing the Mizzou fan walk from his seat, to the concourse, down the spiral ramp holding up his finger the entire time. I'm just curious what that #1 represented.

RE: Dear Phog.net,

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On my way out of the stadium, I was confronted by a 40 year old MU woman who would not move out of my way in the aislt to let me exit.  She was in my face screming g ayhawks and g ay U, etc.  When I tried to move around her she would move with me.  I kept asking her to politely move out of my way, but she refused.  Then, she poked me in the chest at which point my gf trucked her.  I could barely walk out of the stadium I was lauging so hard. She got dang near flatbacked.

That said, i saw plenty of examples of bad behavior on both sides of the fanbases.  Even so, compared to 2007 it was a picnic in terms of most of the people that I saw just good naturedly ribbing one another.  About the only constant negative I saw from the MU fans was their insistence on using the gay slur nonstop.

Also, my gf saw two people get arrested in the bathroom  near section 129 because they were trying to have sex in the handicapped stall.  She couldn't tell which team they were fans of because they were wearing dark jackets, but she said everyone in the bathroom had a good laugh at BOTH of them crying as they got led out in cuffs.

Section 114 - ku girl mid 20's clocked a yellow clad fool about 30. It took 7-8 cops ,troopers and 2 security dudes to bring them up and escort them out after a 5-10 mninute brawl! "ROCK CHALK"

We were in 129.  We saw a couple fans from both sides getting tossed but it was just because they were falling-down drunk.  Other than that everyone behaved.  One really annoying ku girl couldn't even stand up.  How do dumbasses like that survive in life?  Anyway, it was a great, fun atmosphere.

I love the vindictive stories that are made up about an opposing fanbase after a team loses a rivalry game away from home. The fact that ku fans can legitimately reference walnut bowls, meth AND firecrackers in their made-up stories only makes them better IMO.*

The dude got down into a freaking "tiger stance" from karate. So I was like, what up biatch, and threw out my "Talib stance," striking him on the head with a helmet. Ovah.
