Hey, he had the best pass of the night, and seeing as how we're still too incompetent to recruit a QB, Stan may be right.

No. Stan's a great  :kstatriot: and a GHS alumni.

Did you play qb for KSU? Did'nt think so. He's earned his opinions on KSU football.

stan didn't earn sh*t. he played in the era of complete garbage.

zacker has been a great poster here and has earned his right fine.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

The reason for the comparison is 6 wins and no bowl because of 2 D-1AA opponents.

For those with "historical" perspective, we better hope 2010 is not a repeat of 1992.

Don't get caught up in the details.

Collin Klein could be our Jason Smargiesso.

Worth it if 2011-2021 are a repeat of 93-03, fwiw.

When history repeats itself for the second time who's coaching the team during the good year?  Just curious.

In 1991 we were 7-4 but not bowl eligible because of playing IAA non conference opponents. This season we were 6-6 and not bowl eligible because of playing IAA non conference opponents

In 1991 we went on the road and played an unnecessary non conference game (56-3 L to #4 Washington) and in 2009 we went on the road and played two unnecessary non conference games

In 1991 we had a frustrating home loss to Colorado (10-0) that cost us a bowl berth and in 2009 we had a frustrating home loss to Missouri that cost us a bowl berth

In 1991 we had a frustrating road loss at Nebraska (a game that was competitive until the end) and in 2009 we had a frustrating road loss at Oklahoma (a game that was competitive except for the first quarter)

I see where Stan is going with this. If you're under the age of 16 you probably shouldn't be commenting on the history of KSU football!
