The game today was really frustrating because it was completely winnable.  The Louisiana Lafayette game really came back to bite us.  While I was upset with the calls and some of our poor execution, Nebraska earned the win.  However, our team is going to be even better next year.  At least we should be good at basketball and should bring in a decent recruiting class.

6-6 is about what people were predicting so I'm proud of our Cats. I guess you could blame our former HC for being desperate enough to schedule two FCS schools to get wins not realizing that we'd need 7 to be bowl eligible but I'm not even going to do that. It hurts because we had chances to win tonight and couldn't capitalize on them. The fumble at the goal line made me want to cry. I guess the final message is that we're closer than we thought we were in September and it appears that the waters have been calmed!
