I'd say they're about equally annoying.  ku fans don't really know anything about their sports teams.  Most of them don't care for football so it's a waste of time trying talk to them about that and, sadly, a significant amount of them don't really know crap about basketball.  I seriously know a TON of ku fans who, outside of Sherron, Cole, and Henry, don't know anything about the team, but they still walk around all day sporting their national champ shirts.  They all keep telling me how bad our team is going to suck this year but they don't know the name of a single player on it.  ... Nubb fans are just complete a$s holes.

On the one hand, ku fans are quick to resort to the "all-time record" talk and the increasingly hilarious 'never-been-to-a-BCS-bowl" card. On the other hand, NU fans are almost as retarded as CU fans with the "juco" talk and are quick on the trigger with the "never beat Dr. Tom" tactic.

NU, ku, OU have a lot of fans that have no connection to the University, they cheer for them because they like the colors/name/from that state.  No real knowledge of the school’s history, traditions, athletic programs.  That’s why I think we (EMAW) are so special.  Our base is made up of mostly alumni with strong ties back to Manhattan and the University.

Because I think emaw has some pretty elite trash talkers.  But that could be considered "the worst" to others.  (others meaning losers)

ku fans generally suck at talking trash. They are so hypocritical--for example, they call us farmers, hicks, sheep&@#%ers, etc.....when those terms describe the entire lawrence population more so than KSU.

I always like when ku and CU fans talk about how we're gonna get kicked out into the MAC wilderness or something. So cute. The only thing better is insecure Mizzou fan, who does the opposite and pretends that they can ring up a booty call with the Big Ten anytime they want.

ku and NU "fans" are definitely the worst. I have some good friends, Mizzou alums, and we have a long-standing trash-talk rivalry, but we're all agreed that we despise ku. 

ku types see football as a brief interlude between basketball seasons. They only go to a game when there's no basketball, when the weather's nice, and when the Squawks are winning. Generally an undeserved too-superior attitude from a school with half stoners and half Leawood princesses, none of whom know squat about football.

Nubbies, on the other hand, live for football... guess I would too if I had to live in cornland. But once KSU (and now everyone else) starting beating the Corndogs regularly and NU was no longer the big dog, it scared the crap out of all the Nubbies. They had to think (a trial in itself) that once the corn was in and now they no longer had football to be excited about, it was "Holy fracking sh1t! I'm stuck in this corn-stubbled frozen wasteland with nothing to look forward to?" Hence the current Nubster massive inferiority complex and mock blustering, born of sheer terror.

Yell things like "hey ref, you suck" over and over again is pretty freaking stupid. We need work on what we say, sometimes it feels like we don't think before we speak. Good trash talking is an art and right now we suck at it, and I am speaking about the general student population.
