The whole uk game system seems to be bringing in students well.  It does seem like the old balls section could give a frack about bball until football is over.

Was a pretty lackluster performance by the crowd but attendance was better than I thought it would be and everyone has to agree that game was pretty hard to get into.  Too many fouls called to get any sort of rhythm going and both teams played like crap.  Very choppy and uninteresting.  Any time I bring a friend that I want to get interested in K-State hoops, this is what happens.

Add in the fact that we pretty well manhandled them the entire game, it's kinda hard to get too terribly fired up over a game like this.  Still, getting 12,500 to show up for a game vs Loyola(BFE) is pretty cool.

    shame on you, non-believers
Funny, because that was one of the better crowds we've ever had for a Loyola-caliber opponent in November.

Their energy was simply a reflection on the team's energy.

Or was the teams energy a reflection of the crowd energy?

Our AD def. pulled a Lew Perkins on this one.  Was nowhere near 12,000.

According to tickets sold, it was a sellout. No tickets available to buy. Turnstile count was nowhere close to 12K. Probly more like 9K.

ksu always reported actual attend. before, not tickets sold, correct?

is the new reporting scheme a currie change?
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."
