So, my expectations and prediction for our team this year have been surpassed.  With three games (two winnable) remaining, the Cats have five wins, and I predicted four for the entire season.

I'm encouraged by this.  How encouraged I will ultimately be remains to be seen.  On the one hand, we should have beaten ISU yesterday, with their starting RB and WRs out or hampered by injury, and horrible defense, so that win doesn't show me anything other than that we can beat the teams we should.  On the other hand, that OSU win is looking better and better with each passing week. 

Another win and a bowl game for this team would be tremendous.  If I were to put money on the remainder of the season for the Cats, I would bet that they win one of their last three to get to .500 and bowl eligible for the season.  However, I hope that they once again exceed my expectations.

CU is a complete enigma to me. You look at the game they had against Tech and Georgia and figure in the losses to Montana Who??? I guess I figured the early season losses for CU where par for the course with the change to their program and they would start to get it together in conference play (). KSU opens as a road Dog there which doesn't surprise me but I guess I cannot argue either way?

I say ku is a winnable game and Texas is well Texas and top dog until knocked off. I see us going 2 and 1 OR 1 and 2 over the next 3 games though I am not sure going 1 and 2 gets us a bowl bid. Bowl eligible yes, a invite I am not so sure of???

yes but we were without Baldwin and then the player who replaced him in Garvin and Watts is out.  And I guess Herndon replaced Watts but he got hurt in one of the first few series and didn't return.

I would say that cancels out what they did not have playing.  They missed Blythe but not Hicks.  RB's are interchangeale.  They still had a 3rd year starting senior receiver, Flynn is a 2nd year starting senior receiver, Meyer is a 3rd year starter, and they had two 4 year starters on the OL not to mention 4 of their OL were seniors.  I would say that balances out Blythe not playing.  It's not like they have been that successful with him.

i'd like to know how many 6-6 BCS conf. teams don't go to bowls.  My guess is zero.

Herndon was playing at least into the 3rd.

Wyatt and Stan were talking about him after the game and they said he went out early.  We did have another Freshman in his place though (at least I think he was a freshman) in Hollis.

I am certain I didn't see Herndon return to the field after he went out.  I did see Erker and a LOT of Kevin Hollis.

Hollis and Josh Moore were in a ton so we basically had two freshman in our secondary vs. their veteran receivers and veteran QB.

I got to the game late, with 5 mins remaining in the first quarter and I never saw Herndon play.

I guess the best thing you could say is that there were plenty of plays due to the frequent DL rotations that we had 3 freshmen and 3 sophomores on the field playing defense at one time.  Three freshman being Childs, Hollis, and J. Moore and the three soph's A. Moore or Walker, Moran, and Campbell.

Blythe went through warmups but come kickoff he was on the sideline in a wind suit and a beenie.
