Why not,  Steve Kragthorpe is probably done at Louisville so Mangino could take that spot.  I think a crap conference like the Big East would suit him nicely.




Disclaimer:  Mangino will only leave ku if he wants to (he won't be forced out).  I think he'll stay for a while longer.

I'm looking forward to his senior day; might be the fakest hug in ku history.
Reesing and Mangina seem to be in hatred mode right now; hopefully, we can add a bunch of gasoline to that fire.

More like "Does The Mangina get fired after the team tanks the rest of the season and goes 5-7?" My guess is "Yes" because uk thinks they're better than they are.

He should have left a couple years ago when a few others actually wanted him, not sure he is a hot coaching commodity now. His health has always been a concern for potential schools to hire him away from uk. My guess is that he would have to go non bcs or even D1-AA if he were to leave ku.

He is a decent coach but his lack of personal control (weight issues) makes him his own worst enemy IMO.

Interesting question...with the easy south sched the next few yrs, he might be able to talk his way into sticking around regardless of how bad they do.  If they go bowling, he stays for sure.
