Yep, a plug!

Motivators! The movie I've been working on since graduating last year is coming out this Friday.  Gather up the lady or a buddy and check out 'A Christmas Carol.'

Yeah, it's only the 50th remake, but if you haven't seen any version of it for a while it should be a nice treat.  It's much darker than any previous versions iir and the graphics are pretty wild.

And keep your fingers crossed for a new Roger Rabbit! ;) http://www.newsinfilm.com/2009/11/04/motion-capture-and-writers-for-roger-rabbit-2/

Wow, pretty cool job.  Did you get to meet Jim Carey?  Is he as huge of a douche in real life as I imagine him to be?

If it can beat the Muppets one I'd expect Oscars.

Sadly I haven't met Jim or any of the other actors for this film.  The performance capture element of this whole process goes extremely quick since all they have to do is act out the scenes without waiting on the tedious live-action things. All of that data was collected before I got here.

I'm a programmer for the company.  My life revolves around writing and fixing tools that the studio uses to manage the movie making process.

I'd love to hook fellow K-Staters up somehow... Someday I will.
