Already the NCAA indoor champion, Kansas State's Scott Sellers added to his senior season hardware by capturing the men's high jump championship at the NCAA outdoor track and field championship in Fayetteville, Ark.

Sellers, who became the school's first eight-time All-American in one event, also won the 2007 outdoor NCAA title and finished fourth in 2008.

Winning titles is nothing new for that program.  'Grats to Scott though.  He is a champion.

You mean we have a National Championship now?  'Bout time.

Thanks Michael Bishop.
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

Yeah . . . at K-State we really aren't about team titles, as long as we have a couple of guys/gals that are pretty good, why bother with that whole team National Championship thing.

Meanwhile Texas A&M adds 2 national titles on the same day.
