With interest in K-State's hoops program at an all-time high, Huggins is hoping for a capacity crowd of 13,500 at Bramlage Coliseum for "Madness in Manhattan."

The event, which will feature appearances by both the men's and women's teams, is free to the public. Doors to the arena will open between 10:30-11 p.m. Friday.

"I'm like Oral Roberts. I don't like to work to empty seats," Huggins cracked. "It'd be great to have the place filled, and I think it would give our guys a tremendous shot in the arm."

Assistant sports information director Tom Gilbert said two national writers -- Andy Katz of ESPN.com and Eric Prisbell of The Washington Post -- plan to attend.

Gilbert also said K-State's new men's jerseys, designed by Nike, will be unveiled at midnight.
