Mentioned Jack Welch about three times every class.

Al Groh was mentioned about 10 times every class. Not kidding.

You know how every class has that one student (usually a girl), that always ask questions and always trying to answer the questions the teacher throws out? Well, there was one of those in this class. She and Ronnie had some connection. He'd always call her by name and give a little smile after she talked.

I think they were bonin'.

Good question. It was the first time I took a leadership class that a gay man or woman didn't teach it, so yes by default.

Funny story. One time after class I went to the bathroom to take a piss, and Ron walks in behind me and pisses right next to me. Looks over at me and said, 'Whats shakin...'

Very awkward, imo.

Then he tries to tell me and my buddy in the class about how he's trying to get the team out and about and do some community service work. I nodded and acknowledged him, like I was saying, 'wow, that's great of you coach!'

I would have looked down and then looked at him with a straight face and said, "This. Its as long as a broomstick; hard as a hatchet; so damn hard a cat can't scratch it!"

And then I would have given him by best "Wildcat Growl".

Ron probably handed one out to everybody the first day. They were probably the large variety that takes extra effort to pull the giant, bear trap like rings apart. Heavily loaded with leadership stuff too.
